Live The Process was born from intuition.

For founder Robyn Berkley, it began as a quiet pull toward deeper wellbeing. At a time when wellness didn’t yet have a defined cultural language, her instinct led her to complete a full yoga teacher certification—not to teach, but to understand the practice from within. The experience offered the clarity and pause she needed to explore her lifestyle purpose and reconnect with what felt meaningful.

Movement always shaped Robyn’s world. Childhood memories of dance and gymnastics—the discipline, fluidity, and emotional expression—formed her early understanding of the body and its inner landscape. These influences later shaped her design lens: a vision rooted in movement, modern femininity, and the leotard as the brand’s first—and defining—silhouette, expressing sensuality, function, and freedom in equal measure.

In November 2011, an unexpected encounter brought Robyn’s future partner, Jared Vere, into the vision. His perspective balanced hers in a naturally complementary way, creating a quiet harmony of contrast—soft and strong, intuitive and grounded. Their dynamic has shaped the brand’s foundation for more than a decade.

She was equally inspired by minimal, architectural, thoughtful design—spaces and objects that felt intentional, serene, and quietly powerful. This sensibility informed the aesthetic world she would build. For Robyn, it was always about the details and how you felt in the product: supported, at ease, and connected to yourself.

Back in New York, she recognized a gap. Activewear was dominated by performance messaging and commercialism, yet none of it reflected the refinement or emotional intelligence she saw in the women around her. She envisioned a different possibility—an approach to activewear rooted in fashion, where high design shaped pieces made for real movement and everyday life.

Drawing on her background in PR, branding, and cultural storytelling, Robyn began shaping a world that felt meditative, considered, and sensorially rich—a complete universe that simply didn’t exist at the time. As part of that early world-building, she explored how scent could translate emotion into experience. Karma—a custom scent created specifically for the brand at its inception—became the atmospheric expression of the Live The Process mood: subtle, grounding, and quietly transformative.

Content was foundational from the beginning. Live The Process started with content first, using interviews, essays, and reflections to articulate the brand’s philosophy before a single garment was made. These narratives formed the inner framework Robyn came to call The Workout Within.

What began with a single silhouette and a distinct point of view has evolved into a thoughtful world of apparel, community, and storytelling—each chapter guided by Robyn’s instinct to create with intention rather than trend.

Live The Process continues as an exploration of how we move, feel, and connect—inside and out. The story is still unfolding.
