Allison Taylor’s LA

Allison Taylor’s LA

My name is: Allison Taylor.

I’m known for being: Co-founder of Le Prunier.

I live in: Santa Monica, but I split time between there and Aspen with my boyfriend.

My newest wellness obsession is: My approach to wellness has always been very simple and consistent. Lots of sleep, exercise, water, fresh food and positive people around me.

THE PHYSICAL:

In my city, my favorite place for exercise is: In LA, it’s definitely running near the beach or hiking in the Santa Monica mountains. My friend Krystina Holbrook also teaches the best yoga classes in LA. I was loving that pre-Covid.

The best spot for body or facial treatments is: Treatments at Facile in West Hollywood. Facials at Barbara Sturm’s new Spa in LA. I also love deep tissue massages (at home or at The Beverly Hills Hotel).

My favorite local health food store or delicious nourishing restaurant is: Erewhon.

When I’m there, I always grab: Sushi.

THE EMOTIONAL:

When I want to get quiet, think and/or meditate, I head to: Nature always. Long drives also help me clear my mind. I love driving down PCH to Malibu.

What I do there is: Hiking with my dog, Koda.

What makes it special and unique is: I grew up in Northern California on a farm, so I’ve always felt most grounded and peaceful when I’m outdoors.

THE INTELLECTUAL:

My favorite podcaster or writer is: In terms of podcasts I really enjoy How I Built ThisExpanded and On Being.

My favorite local bookstore is: Book Soup on Sunset in LA, however, Daikanyama T-Site in Japan was definitely the coolest bookstore I’ve ever visited.

The best thing about it is: It was never-ending.

THE TRANSFORMATIONAL:

When I need to get away, I take a trip to: Somewhere near the sea. A recent highlight was a boat trip with friends through the Mediterranean Sea. It was so beautiful and the seafood was incredible.

The reason why I love it is: Salt water, seafood and sunshine. Hard to beat.

LIVE THE PROCESS:

The Live The Process pieces I’m coveting right now are: The Henley Bralette and Saros Legging. So chic and comfortable.

I’d wear it while I: Lounge at home and/or practice yoga.
