A Utah Retreat with Sacred Sisterhood

My name is: Betina Lindsey.

I’m known for being: a shamanic practitioner, which involves using an ancient method of spiritual practice for personal growth. In the shaman’s world, everything has spirit and is alive and connected through the great web of life. It is through cultivating a connection with nature that we learn how to bring harmony and balance into our lives.

I’m hosting a retreat called: Sacred Sisterhood Retreat: Earthing Your Life Purpose

It is located at: Red Mountain Resort, St. George, Utah; January 11th to 15th, 2018.

I was drawn to this destination because: This beautiful location has many ideal qualities for creating a wonderful sisterhood retreat: The Resort Staff goes beyond the call of duty for each guest and supports all activities. Their Sagestone Spa is nurturing with many choices for personal care, and the Canyon Breeze restaurant serves fabulously healthy food.

This retreat is special because: We all often wonder if we are fulfilling our life’s purpose. On this retreat, we address this question by “earthing” our past, walking our present and visioning our future. It is a time to explore what cycle of life you are in and take action for happiness. Like the shamans of old, we create an “Earth Bundle” of six guide stones for self, creation, service, love, healing and gratitude. You will return home with a clearer vision of who you are, what you love, how best to serve and why this is important to you. This is time for you to create a life vision as simple as how you want to feel every day. The red earth has many gifts for you today, tomorrow and for the rest of your life.

One thing you can’t miss is: the variety of classes on all subjects from meditation to cooking.

Your body will thank you because: you are—at last—putting yourself first by coming to the resort.

I never retreat without bringing: a journal and a reverence for places of beauty.

Retreating is part of my process because: Walking the land supports deep introspection and communion with all that is on this extraordinary Earth.
