A Glimpse at the Future with Goodnight Darling Co.

Aycee Brown is bringing sleep back—just when we need it most.

The psychic channel and spiritual guide first realized the power of her intuition as a teenager and, after some reticence, embraced her ability to give people clarity. In concert with her gift, she harnesses the power of human design as a tool to help people “live from their core” and escape conditioning, self-doubt and fear.

At points in her life, the healer struggled with insomnia (often due to her psychic ability) and that eventually inspired her to launch Goodnight Darling Co., a line of tincture’s, pillow sprays, teas and more to promote solid rest.

Here, Brown shares why, in order to have clarity about our life purpose, we must shift our mindset and embrace brutal honestly (with ourselves):

LIVE THE PROCESS: How did you first realize you had psychic abilities as a teenager? Were you frightened by them?

AYCEE BROWN: I knew I had them because my grandmother pointed them out. I remember asking about people in our family who had passed on or saying their names out loud—and my grandmother would be shocked. But, most importantly, my dreams. I'm a prophetic dreamer and I remember speaking to my grandmother about my dreams daily and her writing things down as I said them and asking me questions to reveal more information. I hid them because I didn't want to be an outcast. And, yes, I was frightened because of what I could hear and see about people. When I stand next to people, I get immediate downloads about them and who they are. I can see inside people. So, that’s frightening when you want to be normal.

LTP: How did you come to embrace your abilities? And how do you regulate your intuition now in sessions etc.?

AB: There’s a saying that spirit will troll you if you don’t listen and that's what happened to me. Spirit kept trolling me and making me face myself, and I had to listen, finally. In the beginning, I would hold back some of what I heard and saw, but I no longer do that. I tell people what I see and hear, raw and uncut. In the beginning, I thought by holding back, I was helping my clients, but I was hurting them by not giving them all of the information.

LTP: What is “human design” and how does it help you “live from your core”?

AB: The analogy that I coined is, if astrology is a finished Ikea bookcase, “human design” is the instructions on how to build it. With human design, you have the power to make conscious decisions that can create lasting change in your life. Human design astrology, I Ching, Kabbalah, chakra system and metaphysics.

Human design is not a belief system. However, it is your own personal blueprint to discovering the core of who you are. There are five “Aura Types:”

Generators = 35% of the population

Manifesting Generators = 35% of the population

Projectors = 22% of the population

Manifestors = 8% of the population

Reflectors = 2% of the population

Each aura type navigates through the world differently. Without this awareness, you can and will struggle in understanding your life purpose and lack clarity on all aspects of your life.

Human design allows you to live life as your true self and make decisions that are in alignment with your true self, before any outside conditioning.

LTP: What inspired you to launch Goodnight Darling Co.?

AB: I launched it about three years ago. I struggled with insomnia due to my psychic gifts and, at one point in my life, I became afraid to sleep. So, I became addicted to over-the-counter sleep medication. My mom made me find other ways to fall asleep, so I started taking classes on herb blending and fragrance blending and started using the products on myself. Then, years later, while I was going through a break up, I found my recipes and thought, wouldn't it be great to have a company that helps women sleep better? So, I launched it three months later. The line includes teas, tinctures, candles and room sprays.

LTP: For you, what does it mean to be a healer?

AB: It means having the ability to use your natural ability to nurture something specific in someone. It means helping someone see the best version of themselves. It means helping someone shed the old parts of them that no longer serve them.

LTP: What does happiness look like to you?

AB: Happiness means fully embracing your desires. Happiness is waking up and loving the skin you’re in. Happiness is being self-aware of who you are and why you're here on this earth.

LTP: What does it mean to you to “Live The Process” and how can we all do that more each day?

AB: Living the process is being in constant search of your own personal truth. You can do that by being brutally honest with yourself and willing to fix and heal the things you can change.
