MY NAME IS: Chelsea Leyland.
I'M KNOWN FOR BEING:
A British-born actress and DJ and co-creator of the Live The Process with Chelsea Leyland limited edition bodysuit.
I'M LAUNCHING:
A limited edition bodysuit and shoppable Bandier activewear edit to support the UK’s Epilepsy Society.
YOU CAN FIND IT:
On July 12th at Farfetch.com via New York City’s Upper East Side boutique, Fivestory.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL IS:
I’ve suffered with epilepsy my whole life. It’s so meaningful to empower not only myself, but hopefully also help others who are struggling with this condition.
I’ve managed my symptoms in part with yoga for years, so I wanted to create a piece with a connection to the practice. Robyn Berkley of holistic fitness brand Live The Process and I teamed up to conceive this one-of-a-kind bodysuit, which I love! As part of the collaboration, Farfetch will also make a donation to Epilepsy Society, plus the site and I co-hosted a Vinyasa yoga practice at the High Line Hotel, New York City.
ONE THING YOU CAN'T MISS IS:
Artist Zoë Buckman’s amazing embroidery of the ‘mind’s eye’ design on the back, which both represents mindfulness and symbolizes strength and empowerment through life’s biggest obstacles.
YOUR BODY WILL THANK YOU BECAUSE:
The bodysuit is a reminder to treat your body with care, but remember that you have the power to turn your weakness into a strength.
