My name is: Amy White.
I’m known as: An intuitive medium, channel and truthbomb dropper.
My expertise is in: All things “woo-woo,” but focused on channeling a group of energy that calls themselves “The Greater Consciousness.” The Greater Consciousness describes themselves as, “all of the wisdom that ever was, all of the wisdom that will ever be and all of the wisdom that exists right now in this time and space in every living being.” As a channel, I am the connector between The Greater Consciousness and the inner-wisdom of my clients.
I stay physically healthy with: All types of movement. It is my primary spiritual and wellness practice. It allows me to move energy through my body, clear out anything that I might be holding onto and is good psychic hygiene. I’m currently in love with Stott Pilates, 9Round kickboxing and pole dancing. I make it a point to move my body every day.
I keep my emotions balanced with: My morning practice is crucial to keeping my emotions balanced. I do three things every morning to start the day grounded, present and in touch with myself: First, as I awaken, I take 5-7 deep belly breaths. This allows me to come into contact with my physical body as I’m waking up. Sometimes, I practice intention setting on the in-breath and releasing the past on my out-breath. Secondly, when I’m ready to roll out of bed, I put both feet on the floor and remain there for a few moments. I put my attention and intention on my feet. It feels like dropping a pin on a map, an “I am here” check in. Then, just before I take a step into my day, I set an intention for how I want to feel that day.
I’m intellectually stimulated by: People being courageous in sharing their truths, publicly. I love Yoga Girl, Entrepreneurs IRL, Madge Unmuted and The Conscious Diva podcasts to name a few. I’m also a huge fan of TED Talks. I continue to share Heather Lanier’s, “Good and bad are incomplete stories we tell ourselves.”
I was recently transformed by: Global travel! I’m completely in love with traveling and this made 2020 a very different year for me. But even though I didn’t do as much travel this past year, the magical places that I’ve been able to explore, in the past couple of years, stay with me daily. The world is big and small at the same time. I love exploring new countries, cities and cultures. I’m truly not the same person when I get back from a travel adventure as I was when I left. It’s transformative.
In the last six months, the ritual that has become so important for me is: In addition to my morning and movement practices, my journaling, channeled writing practice is something that sustains me day in and day out. For me, this is not a rigid practice, but one that is inspired, organic. I love the feeling of writing. I love using my journaling time to ask my inner-wisdom questions or share my dreams and visions in a practical way. When I ask questions and allow my soul to answer, it feels a bit like a playful game. It’s exciting to see what comes through when I write out the questions. The key is to not think too much about the answers. I just let things flow; often, the information feels both resonant and magical at the same time.
Here’s how you can do it too: The most important part of creating a ritual, no matter what it is, is to do so with the intention to have fun with it. Rituals allow for us to come into deeper connection with our authentic, loving inner-beings. But we cannot beat ourselves into submission here; that’s counter to the purpose of and the expansion from creating rituals in our lives.
Decide what you’d like to incorporate more of in your daily life. Do you feel drawn to movement, art, writing, baking or something else? Whatever is pulling at your heart, do that. Once you decide what you’d like to explore, try to set aside a small amount of time every day to foster and nurture the exploration. This doesn’t have to take a long time. The entire morning practice I introduced above can take me only 5-7 minutes. That’s it. And a ritual is born.
It helps me live my process because: Rituals feel like ceremony to me. It feels deeply connected. These rituals become my sacred time to commune with universal consciousness in all the ways it shows up for me. Most importantly, it allows me time for my body, mind and spirit to come together in connected awareness. And creates the space for me to more deeply love myself in all aspects. These rituals are not only important to my evolution, they’re key.
