y name is: Dianna Cohen.

I live in: Miami, Florida.

I’m known for being: Founder & CEO of Crown Affair.

I'm talking about:

Building Crown Affair. Growing a team and culture that’s led by feminine energy.

Before I created this, I was:

I’ve worked in the consumer space for the last decade, starting out first in editorial production at Into The Gloss back in 2012. That experience opened my eyes to the power of beauty to connect us in a deeper way online. After that, I was lucky to be an early employee or brand consultant at a number of high-growth consumer startups including Away, Outdoor Voices, Harry’s, Spring and Tamara Mellon.

My interest was sparked when:

I’m deeply passionate about putting things into the world that change the way people feel about themselves. I’ve always been the go-to friend for hair advice. Growing up, I found self-assurance through caring for my hair, which sparked a lifelong obsession with everyday rituals we all use to care for ourselves and connect with one another. After consolidating my best tips into a Google doc and realizing the lack of relatability in existing haircare brands, I decided to create Crown Affair. Our goal is to provide handcrafted tools and clean, effective formulas that prioritize both functionality and enjoyment. We aim to innovate on cult-favorite products and create consistent rituals that transform over time, believing that taking care of your hair should be an enjoyable experience.

The idea behind it is:

Crown Affair is on a mission to make products that empower people to find a luxurious ritual and celebrate haircare as a part of their daily well-being. We connect with our community by helping them re-imagine their everyday beauty routine with accessible, yet luxurious, essentials. It’s not just about changing the way people feel about their hair; it’s about changing the way people feel about themselves.

What “goddess manifestation” means to me personally is:

Goddess manifestation to me is tapping into the essence of the goddess within ourselves and bringing it to the world through intentional actions, mindset and self-care practices. Creating daily structures that allow me to bring my vision into reality is the consistent work that allows something bigger to manifest.

One tip for manifesting your strength is:

Establish a daily routine of self-affirmations and positive visualization. Take a few moments each day to affirm your innate power, capabilities and worthiness. Visualize yourself embodying strength and confidently overcoming challenges.

Drawing out strength is not about what’s good and bad in our past, but rather:

About embracing the present moment and envisioning a future filled with limitless possibilities. By shifting our attention towards the present and future, we open ourselves up to new opportunities, positive experiences and the realization of our full potential.

The words I live by are:

  • Take your time. (My personal mantra and the mantra of Crown Affair.)
  • The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit. (Attributed to Fabienne Fredrickson.)
  • Things of quality have no fear of time.

One truth that is so important, but people don’t always realize is:

One truth that I live by is that you will manifest the life you desire if you keep showing up. The key to personal and professional growth is consistency. You cannot, at any cost, give up on yourself. Every day, you have to put on the metaphorical gym clothes and go to the gym. Even if you know today isn’t going to be the best day, you have to show up. Every day, try to move yourself a little bit forward, closer toward whatever you are seeking. Mindful consistency is what I know to be true.
