A Reflection From Robyn Berkley

A Reflection From Robyn Berkley

MY NAME IS: Robyn Berkley

I'M KNOWN FOR BEING:

Founder of Live The Process.

THIS YEAR HAS BEEN:

A roller coaster—from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows. I am trying to figure it out—life, that is—like everyone else. I’m looking to find that balance without losing myself to everything else around me, while also caring for my own well-being.

Work has been a constant this year. With Live The Process, I have remained largely behind-the-scenes, focusing on the creation of this incredible world: a curated community to which you’d continue to want to return. While doing that, I have encountered so many amazing people, who have all shaped my own self-discovery.

I have worked (and “work” is the key word) to really embrace and experience the range of emotions this year has brought, in order to grow and be able to enjoy the victories when they do come along. I have worked for everything I have achieved and that can never be taken away, and the same is true for maintaining positivity and happiness, which we have written a lot about this year. That’s the one thing people are always looking to achieve, but are so unsure of how to accomplish.

I have tried to give you a little bit of what I know I am looking for and need; we are all human, figuring out our purposes and how best to survive.

SOME STANDOUT MOMENTS WERE:

Live The Process—the collection, that is—will be launching in Spring with two of my favorite shops: The Line in New York and Los Angeles and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong. These were major dream stores, and I’m so happy that they felt we were a good fit.

This year, my older sister adopted a baby. My younger sister got engaged. My best friend got married. I was grateful to be able to spend time with friends and be there for the ones who needed me most, as they struggled through tough times.

I also loved working on our next charity collaboration, which will be launching in March. And, of course, our collaboration with Moon Juice was amazing and proved to be extremely successful (not to mention that I am obsessed with Amanda). Lastly, my astrology reading for 2016 is a highlight. The year ahead is meant to be one of the best!

I AM ALSO THANKFUL FOR:

Family, friends, a job in which I can instill so much passion, that will positively affect others, and, most of all, my health. And, of course, the people I work with. Without them, none of this would exist in the way it does. I love them for their time and devotion and, of course, passion.

IN 2016, I'M LOOKING FOWARD TO:

From a professional standpoint, growing Live The Process on a global level and spreading the consciousness of community through spiritual, emotional and physical growth. From a personal one, falling in love.

MY HOPE FOR THE WORLD IN THIS NEW YEAR:

That people will look more to changing themselves—and judging less—in order to bring about a wider change in all aspects of how society functions: war, environmental issues, guns, terrorism and food labeling, to name just a few.
