My name is: Dylana Lim Suarez.
I’m known for being: creative, kind-hearted and an extroverted introvert.
For me, giving back to the world and my loved ones is important because: We are all in this together. We need to help lift the world around us up if we want to survive as one human race. I believe we are all so connected—our energies are connected—and nurturing this with kindness to those around us is a great strength. I think about this in everything I do. Even sharing words of empowerment or an image that brings light to someone’s day on social media is giving back in a small yet mighty way.
Receiving is also so essential because: It is important to know and understand one’s own worth and that we are just as deserving of what we receive as what we give back.
In this challenging time, what helps me cope is: Putting positive energy into my home space. It helps me feel calm and like I have a true creative space that I can thrive in. The environment at home is everything to me when it comes to finding my balance.
When I put on my favorite Live The Process piece, I feel: Confident in my own skin. I am motivated to get moving and listen to my body more. Live The Process inspires me to do something good for my body.
One way I’m going to help others feel that way too this season is: To donate and raise awareness for the organizations that I support, such as The Loveland Foundation and The Bowery Mission. I am also going to make sure to ask my family members and friends how they really are. Being a true listener is so important for mental health all around.
