Moon Landing

Moon Landing

My name is:

Jade Caron.

My stomping ground is: New York City and Amsterdam.

I’m known for being:

Managing director of La Luna Family and producer for La Luna Retreats.

I'm talking about:

Blossom Edition in Formentera, September 17th-23rd; and Initiation Edition in Sian Kaan (Mexico), November 27th-Dec 3rd.

You can find it at:

Lalunafamily.com.

Before I started this retreat work, I was:

I was working in global treasury of a French luxury fashion house.

My interest was sparked when:

I left the corporate world with a strong desire to find more depth and meaning in my life. I wanted to deepen my connection to my own wisdom and feminine energy, and learn how to integrate it into my daily personal and professional life.

I came across a video of Miriam Adler, founder of La Luna, reciting a poem which instantly spoke to the deepest cells of my body.

I had a discovery call with Miriam as part of the application process and, within two days, I had confirmed my place on the retreat, received a welcome pack and was ready to fly out to Mexico! Not knowing but deeply trusting my intuition.

How it works is:

La Luna are immersive journeys to bring forth profound self-exploration, connection and transformation. Inspired by the elements, carefully curated practices and art forms are drawn upon to create the conditions for grounding and expansion. We come together to explore, unlearn, feel, peel and return to our true self. It is a safe container where authenticity, creativity and the magnitude of the heart is honored.

What makes it different is:

La Luna is unique as it encompasses all aspects of life. From diving deep into inner-work, releasing trauma, learning the tools to ground; to sharing circles, feelings of ultimate freedom; to collaborating and co-creating. It’s a way of life, rather than a retreat in one’s life. It’s truly a process that the community chooses to walk together. In fact, a key aspect that La Luna has brought to my life is the sense of belonging. It invited me to be a part of a long-lasting international group of likeminded women that encourages growth, reminds us to play, and keeps each other accountable when falling off the wagon.

My favorite lesser-known detail is:

My absolute favorite aspect of La Luna is its exquisite attention to detail and beauty (i.e. welcome gift bags with personalized illustrations, handwritten notes, meaningful objects). We truly believe beauty is medicine on its own, and it is very important to us to create a space that inspires us to feel alive, joyful and creative.

I hope the guests walk away feeling:

Empowered! To step into their own uniqueness. That is weird, beautiful, different and truly admirable, as is.

Retreating is so important because:

Retreats are important in order to recalibrate and slow down the nervous system, but what is the most important takeaway for me is that being present and open-hearted is a practice to nurture in our daily lives.

My favorite retreat I ever went on was:

I am a living proof that La Luna is transformative, and I recommend it to anyone who desires to live a more fulfilled life.

I felt stuck and did not know how to shift my career to a path that was more meaningful to me. After my initiation retreat with La Luna, I felt a deep trust in myself and felt empowered to create my own reality. A year and half later, my skills and work experience now allow me to be of service to a mission that is dear to my heart, the invisible hand of love.

The catalyst to meaningful connections is what makes La Luna a family, and the love that is put into organizing beautiful, tailored and profound experiences is what makes La Luna unique.

My process in a sentence is:

Your beauty is in your presence.

One truth that is so important, but people don’t always realize is:

Falling in love with yourself is the key to deeper connections.
