My name is: Prasanth Vayanakathu.
My stomping ground is: Ubud, Bali.
I’m known for being:
Wellness manager and Ayurveda consultant.
I’m talking about:
Our Integrated Wellness Programme, our evergreen retreat program.
You can find it at:
All through the year at our beautiful COMO Shambhala Estate, Bali.
Before I started this retreat work, I was: An Ayurveda consultant with different wellness retreats in India, Maldives and Malaysia.
My interest was sparked by: The life-transforming power of holistic medicine in beating modern life stress and various lifestyle disorders.
How it works is:
Our guests start their wellness journey with us by sending detailed info about their health conditions and wellness goals. Prior to their arrival, they contact us if they have more questions on how the program is going to help them and also about our wellness services and philosophy. They go through a detailed wellness consultation upon their arrival at The Estate based on which customized treatment, activity and diet regimen is prescribed for them for their stay. They are constantly reviewed and given a post-stay health regimen towards the end. And our guests keep in touch with us for wellness-related questions or concerns they may have in the future.
What makes it different is:
Our guests’ wellness journeys do not end when they check out. In fact, it is only a learning and educational phase that they complete here. We empower them with actionable home tools for further enhancing their wellness levels, and we are always at their disposal for any future review and modifications required on their wellness path.
My favorite lesser-known detail is:
The ancient sacred spring and the spring-fed pools, the epicenters of the healing energy of the Estate. Our guests feel that brings about a transformational experience, connecting with their outer and inner nature brings.
I hope the guests walk away feeling:
Deeply relaxed, rejuvenated and transformed.
Retreating is so important because:
To combat the 21st century epidemic that is stress, it is very essential that you take a break from your daily stressful routine and disconnect from external stimuli. This gives you chance to connect with your inner self, develop clarity of vision, and recharge, equipping you with higher energy levels and better tools to effectively lead your life to its fullest.
My favorite retreat I ever went on was:
Certainly at COMO Shambhala Estate as a guest!
The words I live by are:
Live in this moment.
One truth that is so important, but people don’t always realize is:
Health is the greatest of human blessings.
