All Halehouse!

All Halehouse!

My name is: Erin Hosler.

My stomping ground is:

Glen Ellen, California.

I’m known for being:

I would like to think I’m known for being trustworthy and getting things done with a creative and thoughtful approach.

I'm talking about:

We recently opened Stanly Ranch, Auberge Resorts Collection in Napa Valley, and our well-being destination within the resort is called Halehouse. At Halehouse, we are launching a monthly all-access to well-being package to our local community. Included is use of Fieldhouse, our gym, with unlimited movement classes (based on space availability) and state-of-the-art cardio, strength training and functional movement equipment. Additionally, use of Springhouse, our co-ed purification space with a gorgeous cedar sauna that overlooks the vineyards of Stanly Ranch, and other spaces such as a steam room, salt room and tepidarium. The package also includes a locker, pool deck chair, two guest passes per monthly purchase, and a 60-minute body or skin treatment.

You can find it at:

Before I started this retreat work, I was:

Leading teams at other hotel spaces as the general manager. I made a decision a couple of years ago to step out of that role and onto a wellness path.

My interest was sparked when:

I took a yoga teaching certification course in 2011 and was inspired by this experience to lead a more mindful lifestyle—from what I eat, to how I think, breathe and look at the world around me from a more mindful eye.

The idea behind it is:

The intent of the monthly package at Halehouse is to open up our spaces to the public as a place for them to be able to enhance their performance from a well-being perspective. In addition to one-off spa and well-being experiences and our package, we’ll also be offering periodic retreats, including our two-day Bare Health Well-Being Retreat in September with yoga, postural and gait analysis, plant-based nutrition, meditation, strength training, therapeutic stretching and more.

What makes it different is:

The journey guests experience through Springhouse, our purification space with various bio-hacking offerings, and the very thoughtful touch points throughout all of Halehouse—ranging from coriander water and bone broth in the Relaxation area to Olas mouthwash and Ardent Good eucalyptus shower bombs—to use as part of offerings.

My favorite lesser-known detail is:

I am the inspiration behind the eucalyptus, rosemary and sage scents and accents throughout the spaces of Halehouse, as I wanted our scents to support lung health and be universal to all.

I hope the guests walk away feeling:

Restored and recovered.

Retreating is so important because:

There is always something new to learn to be at your best. It also creates a community of support and new friendship opportunities.

My favorite retreat I ever went on was:

To my best friend's space, Aloha Redland, in Redland, FL.

The words I live by are:

Enjoy the now.

One ruth that is so important, but people don’t always realize is:

We are all human and individual. What works for me might not work for you, so you do you!
