A Glimpse at the Soma x The Writing Bottle Collab

My name is: Tania Debono.

I’m known for being: I am a multimedia artist best known by my pseudonym, TheWriting; and for my typography work with words in bold monochromatic strokes of ink. With an eye for a simplistic aesthetic, my ambition is to create art through words, penning inspired truths that have a distinct meaning within society.

I'm helping to launch: limited-edition Soma bottle just in time for the new year! I teamed up with Soma to recreate one of my earlier recognizable pieces “Breathe,” written alongside Soma’s signature, sustainable glass bottle. The collaboration grew out of a greater purpose—with the hope that we all remember to breathe slowly into this new year, and breathe life into others.

You can find it: online at www.drinksoma.com on Tuesday, January 17th, for a limited time.

What makes it special is: For every limited-edition bottle purchased, $5 will be donated to our nonprofit partner, charity: water, to support clean drinking water projects globally. The glass bottle is made of lightweight and durable BPA-free borosilicate glass and features a protective BPA-free silicone hand grip. Additionally, it has an elegant leak-proof cap made from bamboo, a renewable resource.

One thing you can’t miss is: The word “Breathe” penned in black against the white silicon grip is stark and striking. It makes a statement without using many words.

Your body will thank you because: Glass, unlike some plastic bottles, does not contain any harmful chemicals. Most plastics contain chemical additives such as BPA, phthalate, PVC, or polycarbonate. Glass is chemical free, made from natural materials, and dishwasher safe.
