A Review of “Tabletop Distilling”

A Review of “Tabletop Distilling”

My name is: Kai Möller.

My book is called: Tabletop Distilling.

The publication date is: May 28, 2018.

I was inspired to write it when: I realized that the existing books about distilling are either incredibly technical or they only demonstrate the less-than-glamorous moonshining capabilities of having a home still. I wanted to show the fun and easy way of making some really lovely, homemade products with small, tabletop distilleries. Most people do not realize the capabilities of these little machines that I love so much.

It’s about: utilizing home distilling to produce essential oils, hydrolates and spirits in a simple and safe way.

My hope is that readers will: become interested in distilling, start a new and wonderful hobby and begin fighting against laws that keep home distilling illegal.

My next book might be: From Alchemy to Moonshine: A Spiritual Way.

The title of my autobiography would be: On the Road Again.

I always dreamed of living in a huge motorhome and traveling. I was able to realize this dream and lived this way for several years, but then I had children and realized that I wanted to grow my company. Now, both of my kids are grown enough that I can travel again. Thanks to my staff, my family and the Internet, I’m back on the road.

At the moment, I drive my “Destilliermobil” around Germany, carrying seven different distilleries with me. I visit new people and places to learn more about distilling and to teach my craft.

If I was a character from fiction, I’d be: Hagbard Celine, but I prefer my black bus and the fight to legalize all home distilling.
