A Review of “Be Good To Your Gut”

A Review of “Be Good To Your Gut”

My name is: Eve Kalinik.

My book is called: Be Good To Your Gut.

The publication date is: Out now! Published September 7th, 2017.

I was inspired to write it when: I think I always had it in me to write a book, but it was around two and a half years ago—as my nutrition practice really started to veer into more of a specialized area in gut health—that it felt like a totally natural progression.

It's about: Our wondrous gut and how to help understand, nourish and support it—with advice and tasty recipes.

My hope is that readers will: be able to empower themselves to start or further their own personal journey in gut health and realize that being healthy isn’t about being restrictive or punishing, but the total opposite, in fact. I hope that the book debunks a lot of misconceptions surrounding food and nutrition too.

My next book might be: I would like to focus on the link between the gut and skin. That being said, I’m also a big foodie and passionate about agriculture, so I’d love to write a gut gastronomy of sorts.

The title of my autobiography would  be: Chasing Rainbows. I say this ironically really, as it has been the “nos” in my career and my life that have spurred me onto better and bigger things. Never give up on your dreams.

If I was a character from fiction, I’d be: Ooh, I’d like to think of myself as a hybrid of Carrie Bradshaw and Dana Scully. I’m a bit of a science geek really and I love writing, but will always be a bit of a fashion girl at heart too. So, yeah, something between those two inspiring ladies would be ace.
