Gift 2 — The Larq Bottle

This January, we are Giving The Process: For each of the first 30 days of the month, we’re highlighting something—and someone—amazing in the wellness world, representing the beauty, health, style, creative, energetic and/or spiritual boost you need to start the New Year as your most positive and inspired self. On January 31, one charmed readers will win one of every item and ritual we highlight, including a $1,000 gift card for Live The Process!

They say it takes 30 days to create a habit—sign ups for our newsletter, follow us on IG and tell us how you’re hoping to make taking care of your physical, emotional, intellectual and/or spiritual self a priority this year—to make 2020 about self-care without guilt.

Today’s gift is The Larq Bottle.

My name is: Justin Wang.

I’m known for being: CEO and co-founder of Larq.

I'm sharing: The Larq Bottle.

You can find it at:

What inspired me to create it was: In developing Larq, my mission was to further simplify the relationship between health, wellness and technology. I think a lot of companies in the consumer technology space make the mistake of being a technology company first and end up with a great technology that is in search of a consumer application. At Larq, we really want to understand what is at the root of consumer behavior and address those needs with technology and design.

What makes it special is:As the world’s first self-cleaning water bottle, Larq combines the power of the sun with the advances of the digital age, making it the world’s first portable water disinfection system powered by proprietary UV-C LED technology. Having all this power in a well-designed bottle makes the Larq Bottle unlike any other on the market today. The technology allows consumers to purify water on-the-go, stays clean without the need for routine washing and looks good doing it. It’s revolutionary not only in its design and technology, but also in how it can affect our dependence on single-use plastic. Larq’s advanced technology aims to disrupt consumer behavior to help battle dependence on single-use plastic, while providing access to clean drinking water on-the-go.

One thing you can’t miss is: Larq was the largest crowd-funded campaign for hydration and initiative for clean water on Kickstarter, raising around $1.7 million in its 30 days on the platform.

Your body will thank you because: You are guaranteed pristine drinking water on-the-go, with no concern of bacteria/virus contamination.

This will help you prioritize your own health, joy and energy this year because: Access to clean drinking water is crucial to your health. Larq also helps you end dependency on single-use plastic for a more sustainable lifestyle.

My favorite personal short ritual for self-care in 2020 is: A good night’s sleep or a solid workout at the gym.
